My Story
My story began in 2010 when my sister-in-law sold me my first warmer and nightlight. Instantly, I fell in love and became hooked! I am a life-long candle burner, so this was very different – like a breath of fresh air! No more smoke rings on my ceiling, no more worrying about my son getting burned by a flame or spilled wax. After buying Scentsy for almost 3 years the thought of actually selling it began to take root in my mind. I have never been one who liked to sell things even as a kid in school, that is, until Scentsy. When I used to work full-time, I kept a warmer at my desk and had so many compliments from people and questions as to where I got my warmer and scents. I finally began to realize that this product can really sell itself. After buying Scentsy for 4 years, I finally took the plunge. Why? Why add one more thing to my already full plate? Because Scentsy fills a need in me to be my own person, and to contribute financially to my family. Yes, I am a wife and the Mom of two precious and busy boys. But, I also am working a business on my own terms. I set my own hours and my own goals. I want to travel, and to inspire and encourage women. I want to show my boys what it looks like to be a woman empowered by her choices, living for her God, and chasing after dreams knowing that nothing is impossible. During my first full month as a consultant I earned my first promotion! I can honestly say I have been having a blast selling products that I not only believe in, but also absolutely love! I’ve become the ‘crazy’ Scentsy lady who always carries business cards, samples, catalogs, and sometimes even testers wherever I go. I choose Scentsy! For the first time, I am my own boss. I choose the goals to determine my professional worth and achieve them on my time schedule. The sense of pride and accomplishment is overwhelming especially as I have already earned 2 incentive trips! But most of all, I am sharing an amazing product that is safe, beautiful and of the highest quality with other people. I am giving others a new way to smell the world and relive memories.
